TEACHING

Michael's experience as an actor, writer, director, producer, as well as a student himself, makes his teaching style very well rounded and informed. Michael teaches from his working experiences so what he shares with his students is practical and real.

Michael studied Lee Strasburg based method acting in Philadelphia for several years before moving to New York City and studying for five more years with award winning actor and filmmkaker Tom Noonan. After studying Michael started working as an actor as well as producing and directing his play Room 314. Although Michael continued to work as an actor writing and directing slowly took up more of Michael's professional time.

After working with numerous actors, as a director, Michael realized he had a knack for knowing how to communicate clearly and efficiently to actors so during his down time between projects he started coaching, which led to teaching an on-going class in NYC. He also developed The acting process workshop, which takes actors through the entire process of working in an idependent film. From audition to final screening of an edited original scene written by Michael.

Michael has been invited to teach workshops at various studios as well as do lecture's and workshops and film festivals. He currently offering private coaching and in the summer of 2012 will begin an on-going class in Los Angeles as well as offering his acting process workshop.
